LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE MANUFACTURED AT LOW COST BY USING U-SHAPED COLD CATHODE TUBE LAMPS

PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to avoid a bad influence caused by heat of an inverter by using cold cathode tube lamps. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting device includes a hollow device casing. The hollow device casing has a diffusing plate in a state of standing up. Plural U-shape cold cathode tube lamps(11) are provided to irradiate light to the diffused plate. The U-shape cold cathode tube lamps(11) are arranged in the inside part of the device casing. An inverter(4) is arranged in the inside of the device casing. The inverter(4) turns on the U-shape cold cathode tube lamps(11). The U-shape cold cathode tube lamps(11) are arranged in an inverse U-shape in such a manner that the U-shape cold cathode tube lamps(11) become facing downward.
