PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing (α+β) titanium alloy is provided to improve mechanical properties and dynamic breakdown characteristics generated under the static or quasi-static load and particularly under the dynamic load of the (α+β) titanium alloy, and an (α+β) titanium alloy whose properties are improved using the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing (α+β) titanium alloy having improved mechanical properties and dynamic breakdown characteristics comprises a step (a) of depositing α2(Ti3Al) phase in α phase by aging treating (α+β) titanium alloy; and a step (b) of rapidly cooling the (α+β) titanium alloy obtained in the step (a), wherein the aging treatment is performed at a temperature of 400 to 700 deg.C for 50 to 500 hours, wherein the aging treatment is performed at a temperature of 500 to 600 deg.C for 100 to 400 hours, wherein the (α+β) titanium alloy has Widmanstatten structure, equiaxed structure or bimodal structure, and wherein the (α+β) titanium alloy is Ti-6Al-4V.
