<p>PURPOSE:To improve the timber of a musical instrument molded to a prescribed shape and to maintain the goodness of this musical instrument over a long period of time by placing the musical instrument at a low temp. CONSTITUTION:A flute is molded by ordinary production stages in the case of production of, for example, the flute in the process for production of the musical instrument consisting of the metal alone or the metal and other blanks. Namely, a metallic tube is worked to a prescribed shape and a valve, etc., are mounted at this metallic pipe and thereafter, the flute of a blowable state is molded. The flute is placed at the low temp. for the specified period of time or longer. The form of the flute to be placed at the low temp. may be a state of connecting tubular bodies or a state of dividing the tubular body to three parts; a head tube, body tube and foot tube. The atmosphere temp. of the flute is <=20 deg.C below the freezing point and the practicably recommended temp. is about 70 deg.C below the freezing point. A sufficient effect is admitted with about 24 hours of the time for placing the flute at the low temp. Namely, any change arises in the metallic compsn. of the constituting members of the musical instrument and the extremely smooth timber is obtd.</p> |
