<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade the concentration of calls and to economically transmit and receive electronic mail by intentionally collecting and distributing the electronic mail. SOLUTION: A reception mail storage device 14 and a transmission mail storage device 16 are provided on the side of an electronic mail terminal 10 across an access channel 18. Together with that, a telephone network exchange 20 calls identification signals for indicating that it is the call for electronic mail collection/-delivery to a terminal adapter 12, and at the time of receiving the identification signals, the terminal adapter 12 transmits and receives the electronic mail with a host computer 32, the reception mail storage device 14 and the transmission mail storage device 16.</p> |
