PURPOSE: A system for transmitting wired/wireless instant messages is provided to easily connect a mobile communication terminal having instant message transmission software based on a virtual machine platform with an instant message transmission system, thereby transmitting/receiving text and voice instant messages in real time between mobile communication users. CONSTITUTION: A portable phone(310) builds an application program therein, and is connected to a mobile communication network(340). A PDA(330) builds an application program therein, and is connected to an Internet network(300) through an access point(380). A PC(320) is connected to the Internet network(300). Plural instant message servers(360) transmit instant messages among the portable phone(310), the PDA(330), and the PC(320), confirm connected states designated by a user, and enable the users to recognize the confirmed connected states. A global database(370) stores information on the users. |
