PURPOSE: A method for setting cellular phone menus is provided to set user menus pre-edited by a user to cellular phone menus while booting a cellular phone, and to prevent other menus from being loaded when the user menus are set to the cellular phone menus, thereby realizing user convenience. CONSTITUTION: While 'user menus' are edited, if a cellular phone is booted(S1), an input window is suggested on a display such that a user can select 'basic menus' or the 'user menus' as cellular phone menus(S2). The user selects the previously edited 'user menus' or selects the 'basic menus' if the user wants to use other menus that are not included in the 'user menus'(S3). The 'user menus' are set to the cellular phone menus, and loaded(S4), or the 'basic menus' are set to the cellular phone menus and loaded(S5).
