PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the music data editing method in which the music data of an automatic performance and an automatic accompaniment are easily and pimply edited and to provide the storage medium which stores the program based on the method. SOLUTION: A sound source editor window is displayed having plural subwindows to set various setting values of the sound source which reproduces music data. Then, an event list window is displayed to indicate prescribed event data in the music data in a list form in the order of the generation timing. Then, a detection is made for the fact that an arbitrary subwindow in the sound source editor window is dragged to the event list window using a mouse. Then, the event data, which set the set value that is set by the dragged subwindow, is inserted into the position of the music data corresponding to the prescribed position in the event list window. Moreover, the event data, which only set the changing portion from the set condition at the insertion position among the set values by the dragged subwindow, are inserted. |
