PURPOSE: A fan motor for a refrigerator is provided to prevent a stator and a circuit substrate from being broken down by inundation and reduce the breakages of an internal circuit and parts by filling a casing for receiving the stator and the circuit substrate with urethane. CONSTITUTION: A fan motor for a refrigerator is composed of a casing(110) having a constant receiving space therein; a stator(120) for including a layered core(121) received in the casing and a bobbin(122) disposed to the side of the layered core and wound with coils; a circuit substrate(170) arranged at one side of the stator to apply power to the coil to rotate a rotor(130) inserted into the layered core; and a non-pressure filler(200) for filling the inner part of the case to make the stator and the circuit substrate waterproof. The filler insulates the stator and the circuit substrate by molding urethane into the casing for receiving the stator and the circuit substrate. A position fixing member(160) is disposed in the casing to prevent the stator and the circuit substrate from being separated from a fixed position by buoyancy of a urethane solution in pouring and filling the urethane solution into the casing.
