<p>The terminal clamp uses a current rail (1) and a cooperating clamp spring (3) secured to the current rail via its clamp arms. The first clamp arm (2) lies against the surface of the clamp rail, the second clamp arm having an opening (5) through which the current rail fits, with the lower opening edge acting as a clamp edge holding an inserted electrical conductor against the current rail. At least one tongue (6) projects from the plane of the current rail and is bent in the direction of an indent (4) formed in the second clamp arm, so that its edge lies at a given spacing from the inside face of the indent. The base of the tongue has a support foot (9), acting against the first clamp arm.</p> |
