PURPOSE: Provided is an azo black dye composition, which has excellent adsorption force and low temperature dependency during high-temperature dyeing to give excellent dyeing uniformity and reproducibility and to produce deep black-dyed polyester fibers. CONSTITUTION: The azo black dye composition comprises: 3-15 wt% of an azo dye of formula I; 7-25 wt% of an azo dye of formula II; 7-25 wt% of an azo dye of formula III; 2-10 wt% of at least one component selected from the group consisting of naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate, arylsulfonate formaldehyde condensate, a polycarboxylate dispersant and sulfite phenolformaldehyde condensate; 22-45 wt% of a lignin sulfonate dispersant; and 0-3 wt% of at least one component selected from the group consisting of alkyl naphthalene sulfonate, dialkyl sulfosuccinate, alkyl diphenylether disulfonate, alkyl phosphate and polyoxyethylene alkylether sulfate, wherein the dye composition comprises at least two dyes of formula II and III and at least one dye of formula I, wherein each of R1-R4 is methyl or ethyl; each of R5 and R6 is ethyl, cyanoethyl, acetoxyethyl or aryl; each of X1-X5 independently represents H, cyano, nitro, Cl or Br; and each of R7 and R8 independently represents ethyl, cyanoethyl or acetoxyethyl.
