A 1H-imidazopyridine derivative represented by the following general formula (I) or a salt thereof having an inhibitory action against production of a cytokine: <CHEM> wherein R<1> represents hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, or an aryl group; R<2> represents a cycloalkyl group, an alkyl group, an aryl group, cyano group, mercapto group, carboxyl group, or carbamoyl group; ring A represents a homocyclic or heterocyclic ring; R<3> represents an amino group or a saturated nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group; and k represents an integer of from 0 to 3; provided that the compound wherein R<3> represents a saturated nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group and R<2> is a non-substituted alkyl group is excluded. |
