PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal using a direction sensor is provided to horizontally move a scroll bar and a cursor through a movement of a mobile communication terminal sensed by a direction sensor instead of directional keys, thereby realizing user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(11) inputs a user's command. A direction sensor(12) senses an inclination of a mobile communication terminal body. An LCD(13) displays menu items, characters, and video information. A controller(14) controls a displaying of various information or menu selections according to the user command inputted through the keypad(11), and controls horizontal mobile directions of a cursor or a scroll bar on the LCD(13) according to a movement of a mobile communication terminal sensed by the direction sensor(12).
