PURPOSE: A structure for a piston valve of a shock absorber is provided to improve sealing efficiency of the piston valve and prevent deterioration of driving experience or steering stability by contacting the sealing tape to the inside of the tube while inserting the elastic member between the sealing tape and the valve body. CONSTITUTION: A valve body(30) is moved up and down in a tube(24), and a sealing tape(48) is inserted between the tube and the valve body for sealing. The tube is inserted to a base shell, and a piston valve(26) is formed in the tube. An elastic member(44) is inserted between the sealing tape and the valve body to contact the sealing tape to the inside of the tube in spite of wear of the sealing tape. The sealing tape is contacted to the inside of the tube while sliding by applying pressure through a sealing tube(46) in moving up and down the valve body.
