PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a negative electrode active substance, which can produce a negative electrode active substance in nano-scale, thereby increasing the specific surface area of the negative electrode produced by the method and improving the capacity and cycle life of the lithium secondary battery using the negative electrode. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing a negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprises the steps of forming a lithium-containing nitride, sintering the lithium-containing nitride, and mechanically milling the sintered product to obtain a nano-sized product, wherein the sintering is conducted at 600-800 deg.C, and the milling is conducted by a ball mill. |
