PURPOSE: A fruit selecting device is provided to prevent fruits from being damaged and to improve the reliability for selecting fruits by automatically carrying out the fruit selecting work. CONSTITUTION: A fruit selecting device includes a fruit supplying section(1) for loading fruits on a fruit bowl. The fruit bowl having fruits is conveyed by means of a fruit conveying container(4). A grade determining section(8) is installed on the fruit conveying container(4) in order to determine the grade of fruits. First and second discharging sections(2,3) are provided to discharge fruits selected by the grade determining section(8). The fruit bowl is guided into the first discharging section or second discharging section by means of a guiding device. A plurality of bowl retrieving conveyers(5,6,7) are provided to allow the fruit bowl into the fruit supplying section(1).
