A 2-Hydroxy-mutilin carbamate derivative has the formula (I) wherein: R1 is a 5-or 6-membered optionally substituted heteroaryl group and R2 is vinyl or ethyl. The heteroaryl can be pyridine, pyridazine, pyrimidine, pyrazine, isoxazole, thiazole, imidazole, pyrazole, 1,2,3-triazole, 1,2,4-triazole, benzimidazole, 3-oxo-3,4-dihydropyrido[2,3-b] pyrazine, or pyrazolo[1,5-a] pyrimidine. The compounds are useful for treating microbial infections. |
