PURPOSE: A banding strap device is provided to bind crown and/or brim of a hat to hair or neck, thereby preventing the hat from flying out cause of wind during exercising and/or having deformation of character. CONSTITUTION: The strap device(6) comprises a free size controlling band(3) attached to rear side of a main body of the hat so as to bind hair or neck portion. The banding strap device(3) has a hole to pass long hair through. The strap device(6) is arranged to bind the long hair after passing the hair through the band(3). The device further has integrated buttons(9) to fasten an attachment device(7a) and banding strap as a coupling device at both sides thereof. The strap device(6) having the integrated button(9) comprises the attachment device(7a). The strap device(6) may be tied to brim of the hat, and deformed into character design.
