PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide telephone equipment which performs an E-mail receiving operation by confirming a receiving notice of E-mail and confirming that it is a set time. SOLUTION: When it is 6 o'clock after the lapse of 6 hours from the start of operation at 0 o'clock, it is confirmed whether or not the receiving notice is received from 0 o'clock to 6 o'clock. At such a time, there is no receiving notice, such that access to an E-mail server is not executed and the next access time of 12 o'clock is set. At 12 o'clock, two receiving notices are received from 6 o'clock to 12 o'clock, such that the E-mail server is accessed to receive two of E-mail. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
