PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device by which a residual material such as developer (toner and additive) and paper powder from a member to be cleaned is efficiently removed, the residual material scraped off from the member to be cleaned is removed from the fur brush, the rotational driving torque of the fur brush is decreased and a stable cleaning property is held for a long term in the cleaning device of an electrophotographic device using the fur brush. SOLUTION: The cleaning device is constituted of the fur brush to clean a part to be cleaned, a sheet member having countless holes on a sheet and a guide member to hold the end part of the sheet member, and the fibers of the fur brush penetrate the holes in the sheet member. The fur brush and the sheet member are synchronously rotated and the sheet is moved on the guide member, so that the sheet member moves back and forth between the roots and top ends of the fibers of the fur brush.
