PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain projecting cam structure capable of restraining the change of the width of a projecting cam even when a part nearly consisting only of peripheral-direction components is included in the shape of the locus of the cam as projecting cam structure used for a lens barrel. SOLUTION: In the projecting cam structure having an annular cam member having a non-linear projecting cam on its inner peripheral surface or its outer peripheral surface, and an annular follower member coaxial with the annular cam member and having a pair of follower projections putting the projecting cam in between and separated in an axial direction on its outer peripheral surface or its inner peripheral surface, a pair of follower projections being made away from each other in an optical axis direction is simply offset in a peripheral direction, so that the width of the projecting cam is reduced.
