PRINTED MATTER MEASURING APPARATUS, IMAGE DATA CORRECTING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter measuring apparatus enabling accurate measurement even without shielding the entire apparatus from light. SOLUTION: Imaging a printed matter while being illuminated with a flashing light source and imaging it without being illuminated with the flashing light source are performed continuously. Latter image data are subtracted from former ones and image data caused only by the flashing light source are acquired. Additionally, white shading correction is made and the influence of variation in the illuminance of the flashing light source and that in the light reception of an imaging means is corrected, thus acquiring the reliable data for color management of the printed matter without shielding the entire apparatus from light.
