PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box of large storage capacity with small downward projection when a lid member is stored. SOLUTION: The glove box 1 is installed in a depressed manner on an instrument panel and is provided with a box body 2 having a opening 20 in a passenger compartment side and the lid body 3 stored in an upper part of the box body 2 and covering the opening 20 in such a manner that the same can open and close. When the lid body 3 is being opened or closed, the lid body 3 and the box body 2 can rotate around different rotation axes 41, 26 and locus of the lid body 3 rotation and locus of the box body 2 rotation do not interfere.
