PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration dust separator which prevents a gas containing solid dust due to a failure etc., of filter cloths from flowing out of an outlet duct without stopping the streaming motion of tail gas even if the gas leaks to a post flow. SOLUTION: The filtration dust separator has a case 1, a plurality of filters 2 disposed in the case 1, a shaking device 3 for shaking off the dust sticking to the exterior of the filters 2 and a dust conveyor 4 for conveying the shaken off dust to the outside of the case 1. The filters 2 have cage-like frames 21 and the filter cloths 22 to be fitted onto the frames 2. The downstream side where the gas of the filters 2 flows is provided with secondary filter chambers 5 for filtering again the dust-containing gas leaking from the filter cloths 2.
