PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that resisting feeling and unnatural feeling are strong against placing and using the toilet paper in a room of a general residence, an office, a restaurant, etc. other than a toilet room since no toilet paper is conventionally packaged one by one in consideration of its waterproofness, sanitary aspect, etc. and a fixed idea that a toilet paper is only for using in the toilet room is firm in general though many young people always have the toilet paper ready near themselves to use without packaging it. SOLUTION: The package for the toilet paper is constituted by forming a pair of package half body by forming half housing parts each consisting of a semi-cylindrical recess parts suitable for housing the vertically cut half of a rolled toilet paper by molding a plastic sheet or a thin-thickness plastic sheet and extending a joined margin of a set width to the periphery of the opening part of the half housing part, and forming a housing part for housing a single toilet paper inside by forming a sawtooth-shaped cutter part at a part of the joined margin of at least one of the package half bodies and putting the joined margins of the pair of package half bodies together face to face.
