<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide snack confectionery revealing as a whole peculiar new flavor and palate feeling and having low calorie. <P>SOLUTION: The snack confectionery comprises a confectionery base 2 coated with a flavor material 3. The confectionery base comprises bean curd which is made for snack, cut and freeze-dried with vacuum, thus the base itself has taste without special peculiarity, and crispy, soft and light palate feeling.
