<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically movable bed where the hand and foot are never caught in respective vertically moving links and the play of a bottom part is minimized without regard for the vertically moving position of the bed. <P>SOLUTION: Vertically moving means 38 for vertically moving the bottom are respectively arranged at a head board 5 and a foot board. Each vertically moving means is provided with: a driving rod 31 to be driven vertically; a vertically moving member 34 connected to the upper end of the rod; a roller 33 fitted to the vertically moving member; and a roller guide channel 35 for fitting and guiding the roller. The vertically moving member 34 consists of: a horizontal direction extending rod 25 extending from a place connected to the driving rod 31 to both sides; and a pair of downward extending rods 32 extending downward from both ends of the extending rod. two rollers 33 are fitted to the lower parts of downward extending rods, respectively, and one of the two rollers 33 fitted to each downward extending rod is arranged lower than the bottom surface of the bed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
