PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin to an utmost the thickness of the whole of a battery pack without changing the thickness of a thin battery. SOLUTION: The battery pack is formed by mounting the thin battery 2 thinner than the width of the battery on an outer case 1. The outer case 1 has openings 3 exposing the back and the front of the thin battery 2 to the outside, and formed in a square frame shape covering both sides and both ends of the thin battery 2. The thickness of the outer case 1 is made almost equal to the thickness of the thin battery 2, or the outer case 1 is made thinner than the thin battery 2. The surface of the thin battery 2 is covered with an insulating sheet 7. The edge of the insulating sheet 7 is arranged between the thin battery 2 and the outer case 1, and the edge of the insulating sheet 7 is interposed between the thin battery 2 and the outer case 1.
