PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new phthalocyanine compound which is excellent in solubility in organic solvents and in stability in the state of solution etc. SOLUTION:α-Tetra(fluoroalkoxy)-substituted phthalocyanine is shown by general formula (1), wherein 1-16 indicate each a position of surrounding carbon atoms; Y shows a substituent-O-(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>m</SB>(CF<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>X which are combined with a phthalocyanine skeleton, wherein m is an integer of 1-6; n is an integer of 1-8; X is a hydrogen or a fluorine atom in the substituent Y respectively; a centered metal M shows a cobalt atom; the substituent Y are combined with one of the carbon atoms of 1 or 4, 5 or 8, 9 or 12, or 13 or 16.
