<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for inspecting and taping a workpiece with which only a defective workpiece can be discharged if one of a plurality of workpieces to be supplied and inspected at a time is defective, only good workpieces can be surely transferred continuously without missing on a carrier tape, and processing speed of the apparatus can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: While a conveyance table 2 is intermittently rotated normally by 2S, the rotation is changed over to the intermittent rotation by 1S when a group with vacancy reaches a workpiece transfer part. While the carrier tape 4 is intermittently fed normally by 2P (pitches), the intermittent feeding is performed according to the number of the workpieces W transferred into work storage parts 4a of the carrier tape 4 when a group with a vacancy reaches the work transfer part 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
