PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector cleaning tool with which a connecting end surface of an optical connector can easily and securely be cleaned while the optical connector is inserted into a connector housing. SOLUTION: Provided is the optical connector cleaning tool 1 which is equipped with a tool main body 10 and an insert part 20 provided projecting from the tool main body 10 and capable of being inserted into the connector housing and can position a cleaning member 2 positioned at a projection tip of the insert part 20 from the tool main body 10 to abut on the connecting end surface by inserting the insert part 20 into the connector housing. Consequently, the cleaning member 2 can easily be inserted into the connector housing and made to abut against the connecting end surface and when the connecting end surface is wiped and cleaned by moving the cleaning member 2, the position where the member abuts against the connecting end surface can easily be maintained.
