PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic transmitting/receiving apparatus for improving assembly workability and reliability by easily and reliably connecting conducting wires to a circuit board even in the case that the number of the conducting wires is large. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic apparatus for transmitting, receiving, or transmitting/receiving ultrasonic waves comprises a holder 2 having a frame-shaped or tubular side plate; ultrasonic sensors held at the holder 2; and a circuit board 5 each connected to the ultrasonic sensors via leads 51 and 52 and held at a prescribed location in the holder 2. The ultrasonic apparatus is provided with both a connector 55 provided for the end parts of the leads 51 and 52 connecting to connection parts 56 and 57 of the circuit board 5 and a connector temporary holding part 61 for temporarily holding the connector 55 to the side plate 32.
