PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely return a shaft to an original position and improve a sensor detecting accuracy by smoothly rotating the shaft, in a sensor unit having two elastic bodies for energizing the shaft interlinked with an accelerator pedal to the original position. SOLUTION: A drum 46 and a shaft 38 integrated with the drum 46 are rotated together with a stepping action of an accelerator pedal. A rotation angle of the shaft 38 is detected by an angle sensor 42. The drum 46 and the shaft 38 are energized to an original position by a first torsion spring 60 and a second torsion spring 68. The first torsion spring 60 and the second torsion spring 68 are arranged in a manner that thrust forces applied to the shaft 38 are opposed to each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
