PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening block having a fitting structure and connecting voids enabling easily constructing a building having no mortar joint on the outer surface. SOLUTION: The greening block has space for holding a medium to grow plants formed in the inside with a lot of connecting voids, and a projecting part and a recessed part enabling vertically and laterally fitting with another block adjacent to each other. The plants grown in the medium held in the space breed from the top of the block or from the inside to the outside and cover the block for greening the block. Opening parts are arranged on the sides of the block so as to grow flowering plants. When fitting the blocks with each other, the projecting parts and the recessed parts are bonded to each other by mortar in the inside of the blocks without forming on the outer surface mortar joints between both the blocks.
