POLYCARBONATE COPOLYMER, RESIN COMPOSITION, AND MOLDED ARTICLE

A polycarbonate copolymer (A) formed from monomers including an aromatic dihydroxy ingredient comprising, based on the whole aromatic hydroxy ingredient, 5 to 95 mol% dihydroxy compound (1) of a specific structure containing a fluorene skeleton and 95 to 5 mol% ordinary dihydroxy compound (2) of the bisphenol type, the copolymer (A) having a fluoren-9-on content of 15 ppm or lower; and a polycarbonate composition comprising 100 parts by weight of the copolymer (A) and 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of an ultraviolet absorber (B). The polycarbonate copolymer and composition are excellent in light resistance and heat resistance.
