PURPOSE: Provided is a coating composition for a lining of water tank, which has excellent physical and chemical properties and good working efficiency, can be coated under wet environment and in aqua, can be applied to the rusted or oily surfaces, and is ecologically favorable. CONSTITUTION: The coating composition for a lining of water tank comprises: 20 to 30 wt% of liquid DGEBA(diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A) type epoxy resin, 5 to 10 wt% of trimethylolpropane triglycidyl ether, 10 to 20 wt% of a glycidyl ether of aliphatic hydrocarbon, 27 to 36 wt% of an inorganic filler, 5 to 10 wt% of a pigment, and 10 to 15 wt% of additives, based on the total weight of the composition. The filler is selected from the group consisting of silica, talc, calcium carbonate, alumina, silica gel and mica.
