Process for deburing gearwheels (5) comprises rotating a gearwheel using a work piece-rotating drive and engaging a toothed pressure wheel (17) rotating about an axis (y) with pressure in the tooth arrangement so that secondary burrs are pressed out toward the front of the teeth and are removed by a cutting tool (18). The pressure wheel is advanced at least partly in the direction of the work piece axis of rotation (x) and the workpiece is an internal geared crown gear. An Independent claim is also included for a device used for deburing gearwheels.
