A household communications installation commissioning procedure uses a programming mode in which pressing door station (4) call buttons (12) to be programmed in a preferred sequence stores matched addresses which are allocated by pressing dwelling buttons in the same sequence to call these from memory using a bus (6) controller (10) connected to all stations.
