<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which causes of error can be analyzed readily. <P>SOLUTION: Detection signals of various sensors 58, an output signal to a working member 57 and error detection results are stored, in time series, in the ring buffer 73 of an RAM 55 according to a memory control program every time when a variation takes place. The information stored in the ring buffer 73 is outputted to a PC 74, for example, by an output program. Since detection signals of the various sensors 58 until occurrence of an error, and the record of output signals to the working member 57 can be confirmed on the CRT of the PC 74, causes of error can be analyzed readily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
