<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a ceiling base capable of attaching a cradling to a cradling support even by one worker. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of cradlings 1 are arranged in a straight line so as to cross with a plurality of cradling supports 2 parallelly arranged. The intersecting position of the cradling 1 with the cradling support 2 is positioned in the vicinity of longitudinal both ends of the cradling 1. A U-shaped hanging fitting 3 is fitted in the intersecting position of the cradling 1 with the cradling support 2 from the lower part. An incision slit 4 cut in the horizontal direction is formed at the upper part of the hanging fitting 3. The horizontal piece 2a of the cradling support 2 is inserted in the incision slit 4. A joint fitting 5 for temporary support is arranged between the longitudinal ends of the adjacent cradlings 1. One end of the joint fitting 5 is inserted in the end of one cradling 1 and the end of the other cradling 1 is fit in a fitting recess 6 formed at the other end of the joint fitting 5.
