<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, to which a new image processing mechanism does not require to be added, when a thickness of a character thin line is reproduced to a user's desiring thickness by using a gradation correction of the image processing mechanism which is mounted conventionally. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is provided with a character thin line thickness deciding means for deciding the characters or line thicknesses, included in image informations for image forming apparatuses such as a printer and the like to output, a gradation change-over means for changing over a gradation of a gradation correction means, according to a result decided by the character thin line thickness deciding means, and a control means for setting a thin line reproducibility of the image forming apparatuses so as to be reproduced to a thicker side, in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
