PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that user identification is performed based on information obtained when a user touches electronic equipment with his/her finger. SOLUTION: When the operation of the electronic equipment is controlled based on the result of user identification about the user operating the electronic equipment, a menu for operating the electronic equipment is presented to the user by use of a tactile information display element 10. An input information control part 9 obtains the user's fingerprint information from the menu items of the menu which the user touched with his/her finger. By collating the fingerprint information with the data registered in the fingerprint data registering part 8, a fingerprint identification part 7 identifies the user who is to operate the electronic equipment.
