PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which has biodegradability, and has high safety to ecosystems and global environments even when discarded into the natural environment, and which has adequate electrostatic chargeability and good rising characteristics of electrostatic charge and stability of the electrostatic charge with lapse of time and can obtain printed images of high quality. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner which is a toner containing a binder resin and coloring matter and whose binder resin contains a biodegradable resin and the coloring matter contains a compound oxide of titanium-iron is used.
