PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain cost reduction and to save complicated components procurement effort by switching input data without establishing a clock generation device in a digital signal processing circuit where data are inputted from a plurality of input lines. SOLUTION: When a system controller 10 of an audio system 100 determines that it is in status that recording is to be stopped in recording processing of audio data to an MD (mini disk)1, and if an input system of the audio data to an MD digital signal processing circuit 8 is I2S, recording to the MD1 is stopped and reproduction of a CD (compact disc)15 is stopped after input system is changed from I2S to a SPDIF by a selector 8f.
