PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charcoal kiln enabling the carbonization of a large amount of charcoal in high efficiency at a low running cost. SOLUTION: A smoke-guiding pipe 6 is attached to the lower part of a cart to introduce a carbonizing material into a kiln body 1. The tip end 7 of the smoke-guiding pipe under the cart is connected to a smoke-guiding pipe 8 of the kiln body by introducing the cart into the kiln body. The kiln body is provided with smoke guiding pipes 8, 17 to efficiently play the roles of the guiding of smoke and sending of air at various stages of carbonization.
