PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle for maintenance which travels without deviating from an approved zone toward a targeted location even in an intricately complicated station yard, and also to ensure safety in the station yard. SOLUTION: An approved zone deviation prevention device for the car for maintenance includes: a noticing paper issuing unit 1 extracting and issuing route information from information of respective lines of an issuing paper 9; an approved zone input unit 5 acquiring approved zone information from the issued route information; a position information read out device 4 reading out the position information from ID tags 2 located on rail tracks; and processing unit 7 collating the approved zone information from the approved zone input unit 5 with the position information from the position information read out unit 4, raising alarm and ordering braking when deviating from the approved zone.
