PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of wear in an early stage of a counter-drive side of engagement teeth of a sprocket, and tooth jump and ride-over of a crawler belt in a crawler type traveling device to rotate the crawler belt in the circumferential direction by inserting the engagement teeth of the sprocket in engagement holes in the crawler belt with cores embedded in the engagement holes formed therein with intervals in the circumferential direction, and rotating the sprocket. SOLUTION: There is provided a sprocket 15 of the correction factor of substantially 0.4% which is corrected to a reference sprocket in which the pitch of engagement teeth 15a is agreed with the pitch of the engagement holes when the crawler belt 18 is in a natural state so that the diameter of the root circle is larger than the diameter of the root circle of a reference sprocket by substantially 0.4%.
