The anchoring component for a building site protective railing comprises a tab and an anchoring bolt for accommodation of a railing support. The anchoring component comprises a tab (2) directly locatable on the fall edge (1). The tab has at least one hole (9) for accommodation of fixture components in vertically arranged anchoring dowels. An anchoring bolt is so positively engaged on the tab, that the adjacent anchoring bolts (3) are located approximately in a vertical plane near the fall edge.
