FIELD: production of iron ore raw materials in ferrous metallurgy . SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of production of pellets and a calcining conveyor machine for its realization. The invention is dealt with production of iron-ore raw materials in iron and steel industry and may be used in pellets made out of the iron-ore concentrate. The method provides for the iron-ore raw materials drying, heating, calcining and cooling, which are executed with the help of heat-transfer agents. At that the drying and cooling are conducted at least in two steps. The waste heat-transfer agent from the first step of drying is discharged into the atmosphere. The heat-transfer agent used at the first step of cooling corresponds to the waste heat-transfer agent discharged into the atmosphere from the first step of drying, in particular that is a part of the waste heat-transfer agent discharged into the atmosphere from the first step of drying At that the indicated part is taken from the flow of the waste heat-transfer agent discharged into the atmosphere and having the corresponding moisture and temperature, and feed this flow into the first step of cooling. The method is realized in the calcining conveyor machine supplied with an additional section, which connects the section used for discharge of the waste heat-transfer agent into the atmosphere with the first step of the cooling zone. EFFECT: the invention allows to reduce the specific consumption of fuel, to increase productivity of the calcining conveyor machine and the pellets production. 3 cl, 1 dwg |
