MICROCAPSULE LIQUID, THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL AND MULTI-COLOR THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL USING MICROCAPSULE LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule liquid which can be best-suitably used in a thermosensitive recording material and a multi-color thermosensitive recording material and shows high chromophoric performance through coming into contact with a coupler or a developer and outstanding fresh shelf stability, and the thermosensitive recording material and the multi-color thermosensitive recording material using the microcapsule liquid.

SOLUTION: The microcapsule liquid is obtained by emulsifying an organic solvent solution containing a diazonium salt compound or an electron-donative dye precursor and a polyfunctional isocyanate compound in an aqueous solution of water-soluble polymer and forming a microcapsule wall through polymerizing the polyfunctional isocyanate compound. In addition, the microcapsule liquid contains at least one kind of a water-soluble or water-dispersed graft polymer. The thermosensitive recording material and the multi-color thermosensitive recording material with a thermosensitive recording layer using the microcapsule liquid are provided.
