<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which can be placed anywhere by having a compact and light-weight electronic ballast juxtaposed to the luminaire in free rotation without heeding a wiring length while enjoying an advantage of the electronic ballast, can have a less projection of a fixture from the ceiling, restrain influence of heat on the electronic ballast, and further has an advantage doing without a wiring work of the ballast with the lighting fixture because of the juxtaposition of the ballast. <P>SOLUTION: A freely rotating support arm 14 is fitted at a part of a holder 11 supporting a reflector 12 with an opening underside and mounting a lamp socket inside. The electronic ballast 21 is hooked to the support arm 14 for supporting, and is so structured to be positioned at a side or an upper part of the holder 11. Further, by turning and arranging a longitudinal direction of the electronic ballast laterally at the side of the holder 11 of the luminaire, height of the fixture as a whole can be suppressed to correspond to a place for use where a protrusion from mounting faces 32, 33 should be lessened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
